Email tracking

Hi,
is it possible to a) have a read receipt when sending out an email and b)
know when the recipient has accessed the report?

Its a big ask for a reporting server. Still if you want to do it. Create a
VB/VB.net application with outlook object as reference. So you will get the
read receipt as well and your application should pick up mails from the
outbox of your machine. This is available if you enable SMTP from your
machine.
