email notifications scheduled jobs

In the notifications tab of the job I have e-mail operator selected. Click on the box with the elipses to enter the email addresses. It will let me enter 2 email addresses in the e-mail name field. It looks like the field has a limited length...is there a way to manually enter several addresses?http://www.sqlmag.com/Article/ArticleID/21450/sql_server_21450.html

E-mail failure in data driven subscriptions

When using a data driven subscription to generate and send a number or
reports to different addresses I have only been able to find a number that
were successful or failed. Is there any way to tell specifically which
e-mails from the group failed? The ReportServerService<timestamp>.log file will contain the information.
There is no UI around this information.

e-mail within the batch failed. I set up a controlled report scenario in
which I knew two of the e-mails would fail. However, the indivdual entrees
in the execution log all had a 'rssuccess' status for the report. The 'last
run status' in the schedule table shows '2 of 3 comlete with 2 errors'. I
know which ones failed, I just can't seem to pinpoint them within the logs.
Am I on the right track or am I looking in the wrong place? Thanks.

still not there. The 'To:' address for e-mails that fail is not available in
the log file. Now I can tell by recipient / time which ones were
successful. Now the problem is that if multiple copies of the same named
report go out in close proximity to each other (think invoices) I can't tell
which one fails.

You could send me the log file and I could take a look if you like. Just
remove the online from my address.

Email delivery, rendering format problem

Hi,

Im trying to set up so the report gets delivered to specified email addresses with the rendering format set to Web Archive.

The problem is, it wont deliver the background of the report. We really need the background to be yellow (company color) i have tried with both the backgroundcolor setting and backgroundimage setting with repeat =true, but it just delivers the email as transparent(white) background.

Anyone know how to solve this?

regards,
xenojust seem like it is impossible. For those with similiar problem in the future, here is the work-around that i used:
Put a rectangle on your form that stretches 100% with and height of the form and put all objects within it. Make sure it will be resizable to fit.

I dont like it at all, but hey...cant waste too much time on these things when the clock is ticking.

email addresses

Is there a way inside the subscription to hide the email addresses. I have
a report that I need sent out to about 20 people but I dont want them to be
able to view one anothers addresses. And I would rather not create 20
different subscriptions. ThanksIn the Report Delivery Options can you email the report to yourself, then
add everyone else under Bcc?

Email address disappears in subscription

When I am in a subscription for a report in RS (SP1 installed) and I click on
Select Schedule, and then click on OK, any email addresses that I had in the
subscription are gone. Any addresses that I have in the Cc: or Bcc: are still
there but the To: list is empty.
Is this normal? No, this is not normal. Does the subscription work normally if you enter
the to field after setting the subscription? I am not really sure what
would cause some of the fields to stay but others not. Does this happen for
every user?

it.
And yes this does happen for every user.

perhaps you have an IE extension that is clearing it out for you (something
like the google toolbar). The fact that the other elements are working
correctly seems to indicate the issue is outside of RS.

FWIW, I am experiencing the same issue as Gary when creating a subscription.
The To field gets cleared out every time I click the Select Schedule
button - all others remain. It happens consistently across browsers and
client machines. Not a show-stopper, but pretty annoying to say the least.
<g>
I have the following setting in RSReportServer.config:
<SendEmailToUserAlias>False</SendEmailToUserAlias>
When this is True, the field does not seem to get cleared out (maybe because
it's disabled?).

the problem and it is a bug. I will file it so that it can get fixed.
